Why this research

Where the robotics work is showing up.

During the season
866 teams reading their division.

The VEX Visualizer indexed every high-school team at Worlds 2026. Drivers, programmers, coaches, and analysts read it during the event, and the methodology behind every number stays open for any team to check or extend.

Between seasons
Statistics, framed as questions.

VEX Research turns competition data into statistical questions worth answering carefully. The work is in preparation, developed with the same open methods the visualizer uses, and aimed at conclusions other teams can reproduce.

At the edge of the field
A question taking shape.

LEAF-Link develops a lunar plant-biology framing toward faculty collaboration, where robotics meets habitat science. Earlier-stage than the competition work, and a sign of where the Artemis track is headed.
